The round attracted participation from Hyderabad Angels, TiE Angels, LetsVenture, and Invention Engine. Angel investors including Arjun Vaidya, Anand Shahni of WedMeGood, Vivek Mathur, and Ajeet Khurana also participated, along with early customers Habuild and Nitin Verma of InstaAstro reflecting strong grassroots confidence in the platform’s value proposition.
A Platform Built for the Modern Enterprise
Founded by Nishant Das, Avinash, and Priam, Cheerio AI was conceived to help enterprises optimise the ratio between customer acquisition costs and lifetime value. The platform unifies marketing, support, and sales workflows across WhatsApp, email, SMS, social messaging, and in app communication channels, offering businesses a cohesive and intelligent approach to customer engagement. To date, the company serves over 150 enterprise clients across six industries, with its retention automation capabilities having contributed to generating over Rs 500 crore in additional revenue for its clientele.
Funds Directed Toward Multi Modal AI Development
The capital raised will be channelled into several strategic priorities. A key initiative is the development of a proprietary small model LLM designed specifically for ad creation. Beyond this, Cheerio AI intends to extend its platform capabilities into voice and video, moving well beyond its current messaging centric offering. The investment will also support the scaling of AI driven automations and the reinforcement of enterprise grade infrastructure, all aimed at delivering faster growth, higher engagement, and improved return on investment for clients.

Cheerio AI’s financials reflect a compelling trajector, the company has sustained 450% year on year revenue growth over the past two years. Co-founder Nishant Das has articulated a bold vision: a future where businesses can function efficiently with just three core roles – a business founder, a technology founder, and Cheerio AI as the intelligent operational backbone.
Over the next six months, the company plans to grow its teams across engineering, AI, enterprise sales, and customer success, setting the stage for a broader push into global markets.
