The Indian baby products sector has witnessed another significant investment milestone with R for Rabbit raising $27 million in Series B funding co led by growth investment firm Filter Capital and early stage venture capital firm 3one4 Capital. This latest funding round represents a strategic move to capitalize on India’s rapidly expanding baby care market.

Investment Structure and Company Profile

The funding comprised both primary capital infusion and secondary share transactions, facilitating an exit for early investor Xponentia Capital, which had previously backed the venture with approximately $4.5 million in 2021. Following this round, 3one4 Capital emerged as the largest external stakeholder with a 14.12% stake, while Filter Capital holds 10.6%. Founded by husband wife duo Kunal and Kinjal Popat, R for Rabbit operates in the baby products segment with a comprehensive range of offerings, including strollers and other essential baby care items.

Strategic Growth Initiatives

The fresh capital injection will enable R for Rabbit to pursue several key growth strategies. The funding will be utilized to scale growth, expand omnichannel distribution, and drive product innovation in baby care.
