Bengaluru based startup NeuralKart has secured ₹2.35 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, marking an early but significant step for the AI insurtech player as it works to automate insurance operations and industrial safety monitoring across India and international markets.
Bridging Two Manual Heavy Industries
Founded in 2024 by Manoj Raju, Shreyas R. Halageri, and Vidvath Kamireddy, NeuralKart operates at the intersection of two traditionally manual, document heavy industries: insurance underwriting and industrial safety compliance. The company builds AI platforms designed to reduce the time and human effort required to assess risk, process claims, and monitor physical work environments.
Allocating the Fresh Capital
NeuralKart plans to direct the fresh capital toward product development, AI and machine learning engineering, customer acquisition, go-to-market expansion, and working capital needs. This allocation suggests a dual focus: strengthening the underlying technology while simultaneously pushing to convert early enterprise interest into a broader customer base.
Significance for the Broader Industry
Insurance remains one of the most paperwork-intensive industries globally, and delays in underwriting or claims processing directly affect customer experience and insurer costs. Similarly, industrial safety monitoring has historically relied on manual inspections, which are time-consuming and prone to human oversight. NeuralKart’s entry into both spaces signals growing investor confidence in AI’s ability to solve operational bottlenecks in high stakes, compliance driven sectors—an area with substantial long term demand as insurers and industrial firms seek efficiency and risk reduction.
A Closer Look at the Platforms
InsureMind analyzes insurers’ policy documents to automate underwriting, claims processing, renewals, and audits, reducing manual review time.
FieldSense uses computer vision, drawing on drone footage, CCTV, IP cameras, and sensor data, to detect safety risks at industrial sites and generate automated risk assessments.
Together, these platforms serve general insurers and industrial risk services firms, with FieldSense also advancing through a co-development partnership.
Customer Traction to Date
NeuralKart states it has onboarded paying enterprise customers and maintained a 100% customer retention rate since inception—an early indicator of product-market fit, though the company has not disclosed specific customer numbers or revenue figures.
The Road Ahead
With seed capital secured, NeuralKart’s next phase will likely focus on expanding its enterprise customer base, refining its AI models, and deepening its presence in both domestic and overseas markets. Investors and industry watchers will be looking for signs of scaled adoption as the company moves beyond its early stage traction.
