EntelligenceAI Closes $5M Round Led by Mayfield, Introduces Ask Ellie for Cross-Platform Engineering Intelligence

EntelligenceAI

EntelligenceAI has successfully completed a $5 million funding round and launched Ask Ellie, an AI agent designed to address the critical challenge of cross platform collaboration in modern engineering organizations.

Solving the Shipping Paradox

The software development landscape has undergone remarkable transformation with AI powered code generation tools enabling unprecedented velocity in individual coding tasks. However, a significant gap persists between writing code quickly and shipping quality products as cohesive teams. Engineering organizations continue to struggle with fragmented toolchains, context switching overhead, and the challenge of maintaining visibility across performance monitoring, issue tracking, project management, and version control systems.

EntelligenceAI was founded to bridge this divide. Our research identified that engineering teams spend substantial time navigating between platforms to answer fundamental questions about system performance, code ownership, deployment blockers, and technical debt- time that could be invested in building innovative solutions.

Introducing Ask Ellie

Ask Ellie represents a new category of engineering intelligence platform. The AI agent provides unified triage capabilities across PostHog, Sentry, Linear, and GitHub, enabling teams to query critical information without leaving their workflow. Whether engineers need to understand performance degradation patterns, identify code owners, assess sprint blockers, or evaluate module risk, Ask Ellie delivers contextual answers by synthesizing data across the entire engineering toolchain.

Beyond information retrieval, Ask Ellie enhances code quality through advanced review capabilities. Our platform demonstrates superior performance in identifying substantive issues compared to existing code review solutions, while simultaneously detecting security vulnerabilities and maintaining documentation accuracy. This comprehensive approach ensures teams can accelerate delivery without compromising on quality, security, or technical documentation standards.

Investment and Strategic Support

The funding round was led by Mayfield and Correlation Ventures, with participation from Embedding VC and DGVentures. We are particularly honored to have secured support from accomplished engineering leaders representing GitLab, Nvidia, Auth0, Zapier, Cisco, and Calm. Their operational expertise in scaling developer tools and enterprise software platforms will prove invaluable as we expand our capabilities and market presence.

This investment will fuel product development, team expansion, and go to market initiatives as we work to redefine engineering productivity for organizations navigating the AI augmented development era.

Looking Ahead

As engineering teams increasingly adopt AI assistance for code generation, the imperative to optimize team level workflows becomes more critical. EntelligenceAI is committed to ensuring that velocity gains in individual tasks translate into measurable improvements in organizational shipping capacity.
