The Indian creator economy has recorded another significant milestone with Wishlink, a creator commerce platform, announcing the successful close of a $17.5 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, with continued participation from existing backers Fundamentum and Elevation Capital. This development marks a pivotal moment not only for the company but also for the broader landscape of influencer driven commerce in the country.
Founded in 2022 by Shaurya Gupta, Divyansh Ameta, and Chandan Yadav, Wishlink was built to bridge the gap between digital content creators, brands, and consumers through a data driven commerce infrastructure. The latest round follows a $3 million seed raise in October 2022 and a $7 million round in February 2024, bringing the company’s total disclosed funding to approximately $27.5 million.
Operational Scale and Platform Impact
The platform currently engages over 40,000 monthly active creators, who collectively generate more than 300,000 pieces of content each month. This content, deeply integrated with product discovery, facilitates over 6 million orders and drives more than ₹350 crore in monthly sales for partner brands and e-commerce platforms. Financially, Wishlink reported revenue from operations of ₹53.80 crore in FY25, a 356% year on year rise from ₹11.79 crore in FY24, while net losses remained nearly flat at ₹18.79 crore compared to ₹18.22 crore the previous year.
Strategic Deployment of Capital
The fresh proceeds will be directed towards expanding creator and brand partnerships, strengthening the company’s technology stack across consumer, creator, and brand touchpoints, and improving shopping experiences for consumers alongside performance tracking tools for brands.
Outlook
The funding secured by Wishlink reflects broader investor conviction in creator led commerce as a structurally durable category within India’s digital economy. As consumer behaviour continues to shift towards discovery led purchasing particularly among younger demographics on short-form video platforms solutions that sit at the intersection of content, trust, and commerce are well positioned for sustained growth. With strong institutional backing now in place, Wishlink appears well capitalised to consolidate its position in India’s rapidly evolving e-commerce ecosystem.
