Legal Technology Startup Nyayanidhi Secures $2 Million in Seed Funding Round Led by 3one4 Capital

Nyayanidhi

Nyayanidhi’s $2 million seed funding achievement marks a pivotal moment for India’s evolving legal technology industry. The investment round was spearheaded by 3one4 Capital, with additional backing from DeVC, PeerCheque, Force Ventures, and prominent angel investors, including Nishchay AG, cofounder of Jar.

Established in 2024, Nyayanidhi represents a fresh approach to addressing longstanding inefficiencies within India’s legal framework. The startup was cofounded by Adithya LHS, Chakshu Masagali, and Pratik Pany, who identified critical gaps in how legal services are delivered across the country. Their platform harnesses artificial intelligence to streamline several labor intensive aspects of legal practice, including document preparation, court filing procedures, and translation services across multiple languages.

What distinguishes Nyayanidhi from conventional legal tech solutions is its collaborative framework. Rather than replacing legal professionals, the platform positions advocates as essential verification agents within the workflow. “Unlike vertical AI SaaS, Nyayanidhi partners with advocates to be the humans in the loop who verify AI-driven knowledge work and deliver accurate legal services in hours,” explained cofounder Adithya.

He further elaborated on the company’s mission: “We believe technology can remove much of the uncertainty that slows down legal processes. By combining data, process discipline and collaboration with advocates, we want to make legal work more open, uniform and goal focused.”

Strategic Deployment and Market Validation

The capital infusion will support multiple strategic initiatives. Primary focus areas include expanding the platform’s network of advocate partners nationwide, refining AI capabilities, and establishing deeper partnerships with governmental institutions. These government collaborations could prove particularly impactful given the volume of public sector litigation in India.

The startup has already demonstrated practical viability through pilot programs implemented at various High Courts and corporate clients, processing thousands of litigation matters. This early traction validated investor confidence in the model’s scalability.

Sonal Saldanha, Principal at 3one4 Capital, noted that Nyayanidhi was “addressing a real gap in India’s legal ecosystem” by focusing on measurable results and making litigation more reliable.
