The investment round saw participation from prominent investors including Raj P Narayanam, founder of Zaggle, alongside Aditya Vuchi and Praveen Raju, among others.
Addressing the Sports Infrastructure Gap
GamePoint’s business model centers on establishing professionally managed multi sport facilities that cater to diverse demographic segments. The venture, established by Aditya and Siddharth Reddy, has positioned itself as a solution provider for India’s long standing challenge of inadequate sports infrastructure, particularly in urban and semi urban areas.
The company’s facilities span multiple sporting disciplines, including badminton, basketball, pickleball, squash, football, cricket, table tennis, and swimming. This comprehensive approach allows GamePoint to serve various customer segments from children seeking structured coaching programs to adults preferring flexible membership models, and corporates requiring event management services.
Strategic Deployment of Capital
The freshly raised capital will be channeled toward two primary objectives: expanding the physical network of sports centers and enhancing the technological backbone supporting operations. This dual focus reflects the company’s understanding that sustainable growth in the sports tech domain requires both brick and mortar presence and robust digital infrastructure.
Currently operational in Hyderabad and Warangal, GamePoint has demonstrated substantial traction within its existing markets. The company reports having trained over 12,000 students, facilitated sports participation for more than 3 lakh individuals, and organized upwards of 700 sporting events. These metrics indicate strong market acceptance and operational capability.
Ambitious Expansion Blueprint
GamePoint’s vision extends significantly beyond its current footprint. The company has outlined plans to establish over 300 centers across metropolitan cities and Tier I and II urban centers within a five year timeframe. This expansion strategy aims to make sports accessible to 1 crore Indians, addressing both the participation gap and the broader public health implications of sedentary lifestyles.
The competitive landscape includes established players such as Premier Badminton Coaching Academy, Machaxi, KheloMore, and Huddl. However, GamePoint’s integrated approach combining infrastructure, coaching, flexible access models, and corporate solutions positions it distinctively within this growing market segment.
