Salesforce Ventures and Accel Lead $15 Million Seed Round for AI App Development Startup Rocket.new

Rocket.new

In a significant development for the AI driven development tools market, Surat based startup Rocket.new has closed a $15 million seed funding round. The investment was spearheaded by prominent venture capital firms Salesforce Ventures and Accel, with strategic participation from Together Fund.

Transforming Application Development Through AI

Founded by the entrepreneurial trio of Vishal Virani, Rahul Shingala, and Deepak Dhanak, Rocket.new has positioned itself as a disruptive force in the no code application development landscape. The platform distinguishes itself by enabling users to create fully functional, production ready applications within minutes using natural language processing, moving beyond traditional tools that typically generate only code snippets or basic prototypes.

Since launching in beta in June 2025, Rocket.new has demonstrated impressive growth metrics, attracting over 400,000 users spanning 180 countries worldwide. The company has reached $4.5 million in annual recurring revenue with over 10,000 paid subscribers.

Strategic Investment and Future Plans

The substantial funding injection will primarily support three critical areas of expansion. Research and development initiatives will receive increased investment to enhance the platform’s AI capabilities and user experience. Product development acceleration will focus on introducing advanced features and improving the platform’s scalability to handle growing user demands.

Perhaps most significantly, the proceeds will fund Rocket.new’s global expansion strategy, including the establishment of a North American headquarters in Palo Alto, California. This strategic location will provide the company with direct access to Silicon Valley’s technology ecosystem and enterprise customer base.

Market Position and Business Model

The startup operates on a Software as a Service model, generating revenue through subscription plans and enterprise contracts. The company’s AI first architecture and emphasis on production ready deployment capabilities create a differentiated market position in the no code development space.

With this significant funding milestone, Rocket.new is well positioned to capitalize on the growing enterprise demand for AI powered development solutions and accelerate its mission to democratize application creation.
